Our first trip to China and we hope it won’t be our last! We visited Beijing, Xian (the Terrecotta Army), beautiful Guilin where we took a riverboat ride down the mystical Li River, and modern Shanghai.

An Overseas Adventure Travel tour!
We visited the beautiful city of Istanbul, spent a day exploring the ruins of ancient Ephesus; and traveled to Mamaris where we boarded a sailboat for a 3-day cruise along the Turkish coast. One of the trip highlights was an afternoon spent watching the Whirling Dirvishes, something I will never forget! We also spent time wandering the “fairy chimneys” and cave dwellings of Cappadocia, which also included seeing it from the air via a memorable balloon ride!
